Cask and Kettle makes a variety of delicious hot cocktails delivered in ready-to-brew K-cups.
Background
I was contracted by Cait Burns at Take Hold Creative Co. to create several illustrations and one animation for Cask + Kettle’s Instagram. The goal was to introduce a more hand-crafted element by defining an illustration style that feels cohesive with the brand.
Part of the challenge with this brand is that consumers can’t believe that there is actually liquor in the pods, leading to confusion about what they are. So they have to reiterate it often.
I made this frame-by-frame animation to show whats in the pod, as part of their holiday gifting campaign.
